I tried everything.

HealthyFoodHabit is dedicated to the the people who have been more than a little disappointed in their life, their upbringing, their diet, & themselves. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I tried everything;

Inspite what my detractors claim, I ran morning track, did afternoon weight room, after school weightroom, biked, swam, mutiple fad diets, suppliments, and worst of all, listened to “contemporary wisdom” on matters of health.

315lbs at High School Graduation, I was a walking sum of bad life decisions who put in massive effort to no avail.

But then I got sick with a mysterious illness, lost 135lbs and only in partial remission 5 years later did I gain back 110lbs with no understanding of how or why.

10 years after first being sick, I now know my multiple illnesses by name, my treatments, my exercises, my diet, my fasting routine, and exactly how I lost 70 (and counting!) of those 110lbs on a full stomach. This is my journey.

The only problem? The journey is not over and the newer problems are one’s that I hadn’t foreseen–but the twists and turns are all a part of the journey.

Now this is less about weight loss and more about mindset.

I created HealthyFoodHabit to share these experiences. I want to get healthy with you. By harnessing the power of my mind and body, I’m taking action.
